STATEMENT of PURPOSE

The Purpose of this Association shall be to work for the betterment of the legal profession and the administration of justice: to take an active interest in governmental affairs; to stimulate a feeling of respect, esteem, and good fellowship among members of the profession; to maintain a high standard of ethics among the members of the Bar of Chattanooga; and to correlate its activities with those of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and such other professional organizations as may appear appropriate.     

Membership Dues

Regular membership dues:

$165.00 annually (Over 3 years in practice)

$143.00 annually (Under 3 years in practice)

New Bar Admittees - 1^st Calendar Year Waived. (Calendar year ends December 31 of the year you are admitted to practice.)

Young Lawyers Division - $30.00 Opt-out option

Law Student Membership - open to any law student currently enrolled in a law school. $40.00 annually - carries all the benefits of full membership except voting.

Associate Membership - open to Paralegals and Legal Assistants. $65.00 annually - carries all the benefits of full membership except voting.
