Re:       Chattanooga Legal Information Provider Service – CLIPS

Dear Chattanooga Bar Association Member:

            Thank you for your consideration to participate in an original program of the Chattanooga Bar Association for Chattanooga and Tennessee – “CLIPS”. With the 50+ attorneys who have said they will participate, we are now ready to begin all the work.  It will take Williams Web sixty days to build the website and put all the information about you on this site.  Once this website is completed, it will be turned over to the CBA to administer the site and therefore, we have the opportunity to make changes at any time.

            Hoping that you want to participate, please dowload the forms (CLIPS Application, CLIPS Participants' Commitments to Clients, CLIPS Participants' Standards, What is CLIPS?, What CLIPS Is Not) on this page, complete and return to the CBA office by February 18^th.  To go forward with this project, we must invoice each participant for a deposit of $100.00.  The cost to build the website is $8,600.00.  The Annual fee to participate in CLIPS is $250.00. 

            I am in the process of lining up all the media advertising for CLIPS. I will need participants to appear on the radio shows; NewsChannel 9; the Morning Show with Jed Mescon; and the Morning Show on WDEF. We have entered into an agreement to advertise on www.chattanoogan.com and www.newschannel9.com .  We will also try to advertise on  www.wrcbtv.com when they complete their new website in a couple of months.  CLIPS information will be highlighted in the weekly “Community News” inserts in the Chattanooga Times Free Press; as well as featured on a front page article in the Hamilton County Herald.  I am working on several other options and will keep you posted on my progress.
